Dear medical students,
Thank you for taking the time to participate in our survey on cardiovascular care for sexual and gender minority (SGM) individuals. SGM populations include, but are not limited to, individuals who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, transgender, non-binary, or queer.
This study aims to investigate your knowledge about the specifics of cardiovascular care for the SGM population.
We want to ask you a set of questions concerning your medical education, your experiences with providing healthcare, and your perspective on healthcare for SGM individuals in general. The survey findings are expected to improve our understanding of the needs of SGM individuals in cardiovascular care.
The study is conducted by Andreas Koehler, MD, PhD, Peer Briken, MD, and Timo Nieder, PhD, of the Institute for Sex Research, Sexual Medicine, and Forensic Psychiatry at the University Medical Center Hamburg, Germany, in cooperation with
